How it works
- 1
Snap the plate
Take a photo or pick one from your gallery. A dish or a nutrition label both work.
- 2
Check the foods Mira found
Each food has its own line with an estimated portion and calories. You can correct anything Mira got wrong.
- 3
Adjust and save
Change grams, swap an item for a database match or add a hint and re-analyse. Then “Save all”.
Foods listed separately
Mira lists the foods it finds in the photo so you can check each one.
Estimates you can see
Values estimated from a photo are marked as estimates.
Micronutrients too
Beyond calories and macros, Mira estimates fibre, sugar, vitamins and minerals for each item.
Gallery works

Questions
Is photo logging free?
Photo logging is part of Pro. The barcode scanner, search and voice search are free.
What if Mira gets it wrong?
Tap the item to change its grams, swap it for a similar product from the database, or add a text hint like “cooked in olive oil” and analyse again.
Can I photograph a nutrition label?
Yes. Mira can read a nutrition label. You can also find a packaged food by barcode and compare its record with the label.
